St Sidwell's v St Matthews

SATURDAY 14th MARCH 1903,
St Matthews (Plymouth) v St Sidwell's
At Camp Field.

St. Sidwell' United played St Matthew's, at the Camp Field, the former being by far the better team. Their combination was excellent, their passing pretty, and their goal distinctly safe. Still, St Matthew's managed to put through once, and an interesting game ended in a win for St Sidwell by four goals to one. Hughes and Commins did some capital work for their respective sides.
