Heavitree v. St Sidwell's Reserves.
Played at Pinhoe-road (Mount Pleasant)
St Sidwell's started with the wind and slope. During the first half they pressed continuously, and were leading at half-time by six goals. In the second half Heavitree improved, and had quite as much of the play as their opponents. They were, however, unable to break through the Saints' defence. Westmoreland (Heavitree's left back) played brilliantly throughout the game, but was not well supported. On two occasions he dribbled nearly the whole length of the field, his shots at goal going wide. Towards the close of the game St Sidwell's again scored.
