This Association match was played at Mount Pleasant before a very goold gate, The United played up the hill in the first half, and Sellick and Davies scoredin quick succession, The League then had a turn of attacking, and Westaway put them on equal terms with a couple of good shots, The Saints attacked on the left and Coles dribbled through to put the ball through the posts with a brilliant shot, thus restoring the lead to the home team. With the slope in their favour in the 2nd half, it wasquickly apparent that St Sidwells would have matters much their own way. Their forwards combined finely and goals were scored by Davies, Thomas 2 Eveleigh 2, Sellick and Avery. The Rest of the League team failed to respond and vere beaten easily.

St Sidwell's United, having won the championship in connexion with the Exeter League, played a team selected from the remainder of the Clubs that took part in the competition during the season. The match was contested at Mount Pleasant, and there was a large attendance. In the initial portion of the game play was of a fairly even character, the United scoring three goals against their opponents' two. During the second half, however, St Sidwell's had matters all their own way, adding seven goals. The scorers for the winners were Eveleigh (2), Thomas (2), Sellick (2), Davies (2), and Coles and Avery one each. Westaway, of St David's, scored both goals
