Newton Abbot GWR students v St Sidwell's  

St Sidwell's journeyed to Newton, and very soon after the start Eveleigh fook the ball up to the mouth of the goal and gave to Sellick, who scored. The Students did a good deal of attacking, but their shooting was weak. Eveleigh again darted. away, and, running over fifty yards, he gave to Sellick, who found the net for the second time. The second half opened in favour of the home team, but Campbell and King were equal to the occasion. The Saints woke up, but were frequently penalised for offside play. Eveleigh made another grand run and scored, this time himself. The home team once more attacked hotly, and Robinson, in goal, saved splendidly. However, from a good combined forward rush Hodge scored.
