St Sidwell's v Exmouth Albion 

Crushing Defeat.

St Sidwell's United met Exmouth Albion on the United's ground, Pinhoe-road, Saturday afternoon. There was a very high wind blowing, which interfered considerably with the game. The home team had the better of the game throughout, and were, by far, the superior of the two. St. Sidwell's showed some pretty combination, and in the first half scored twice. In the second half the homesters again had the advantage. The forwards dribbled, and passed well, with the result that they put through six more goals. The final score, accordingly, was: St. Sidwell's United, eight goals; Exmouth Albion, nil. The Exmouth team have yet much to learn. There seemed to be no cohesion among the players.

St. Sidwell's play Ashley Villa Bristol, to-day at 11 o'clock. This is the first time that a Bristol Association eleven have visited Exeter.
