Georgina Presswell, a defender defender was the sixth addition to Abbie Britton's squad ahead of the 2025/26 campaign, joining the Grecians after most recently playing in the United Arab Emirates. Before her time in the Middle East, Georgina played in the UK for Coventry and Bristol Academy, before suffering two significant knee injuries. However, surgery while abroad has allowed her to return to playing, and now after a successful trial she's penned a deal with City for the upcoming season!

Speaking about securing her sixth signing of the summer, City boss Abbie Britton said: "I am delighted to welcome Georgia to the squad. She brings a wealth of experience and really caught our eye during her trial.  "She’s a composed passer of the ball and brings excellent leadership qualities exactly the attributes we need as we look to push on this season."

After sealing the deal, City's latest player spoke about how the Grecians were her number one target to join. "Really pleased, coming over and watching from a distance from the UAE I've had my eyes set on Exeter so it's nice to get that over the line," explained Georgia. "I'm a centre-back, a strong player, have quite a good passing range, can get up and win headers - I fractured my cheek bone winning a header a few weeks ago! Hense the mask. I'm an old-school defender, love getting stuck in."

Georgina made her first team debut in a friendly at Bristol Rovers coming on as second half substitute on the 5th August 2025, and a scoring debut in a league cup game on the 7th September 2025 against Southampton PGA.
