The talented attacking midfielder is the seventh addition to Abbie Britton's squad this season, and has been registered in time to feature against AFC Bournemouth this weekend.

Maddie played alongside City midfielder Fearne Slocombe and former loanee Maya Kendell with the Robins' under-21 side, scoring in last season's Gloucestershire FA Women's Cup final victory alongside Maya.

She made her Robins first team debut at the backend of the 2024/25 season, coming off the bench against Sunderland at Ashton Gate, and now heads to City to gain more experience of first team football.

Speaking about her latest Grecian, Abbie Britton said: "I'm delighted to have someone of Maddie's quality with us.

"She's already trained with us a couple of times over the past week and has fitted in seamlessly, both socially and professionally.

Maddie made her debut as an 88 minute substitute at Bournemouth on the 31st August 2025 and scored her 1st goal for Exeter City on the 21st September in a 6-0 home league win against Hashtag United.

Hi Maddie what did you make of the game today?

MD
Yeah, it was a really good performance from all the girls, it was great to get six goals. I think we have nearly been there for the past couple of matches but today it just clicked and was really good.

What do you think made those clicks happen today?

MD
Our Final third passes and our shots on target were just more clinical than in previous weeks.

GR
That sort of score makes the fans want to come back again and again if they see a game like this. What do you say to the fans to encourage them to come back?

MD
Yeah it’s really important we keep scoring goals, it makes the game more exciting. The fans are like our 12th player so its really important they come and show their support.

You got on the score sheet today, how important is it for you to get the goals?

MD
Yes I was super happy to get a goal today but the team performance is the most  important and ultimately that is what did it for us today.
