Display Cabinet 3 – Women’s football
This sheet relates to items in a three shelf display cabinet on the theme of the development of Women’s football in Exeter with particular focus on Exeter City Women’s team. It includes memorabilia from two international games played at St James Park – England v Eire in 1978 and England U21 v France U21 in 2006.

15. Record Book 1982. One of several record books kept by Exeter City Ladies Secretary and player, Julie Trott. Julie made 207 appearances and scored 84 goals for Exeter.
16. Programme for Devon Women Senior Cup Final between Exeter City and Marine Academy Plymouth played on 19 April 2011. Exeter lost on penalties after a 0-0 draw in normal time.
17. Squad photo 2001/02. The Manager was Jamie Vittlesnow chief executive of the City Community Trust.

19. Team photo when playing as Elmore Eagles Ladies. This shows the team after winning the Devon County Cup on 13 April 1997 beating Plymouth 3-1. Elmore changed their name to Exeter City for the 2001/2 season.
