Pete Eveleigh worked for the Exeter City Community Trust prior to his early death as a result of motor neurone disease.

A sport management and sport development graduate of the University of Gloucesterhire, Pete worked as the Exeter City Community Trust's inclusion officer and ran programmes designed to engage with young people in the community. He was diagnosed with motor neurone disease in 2022 and died in February 2026 at the age of thirty-three.

An Exeter City community captain in 2024, Pete was an active campaigner for Mind Over MND until his death. Fittingly a minute's applause was held in the 33rd minute of the home game against Bolton Wanderers in his memory.
