Lee Skyrme was a lead professional development coach with Exeter City between 2013 and 2016. He later worked with the Football Association and for Southampton before coaching Norwegian national women's team.

A sports coaching graduate, Lee had worked for a college in Cardiff and the Football Association of Wales before taking a lead professional development coach role at Cardiff City in 2006 where he spent seven years.

Arriving at Exeter City in a similar role in July 2013, he had three seasons working alongside Paul Tisdale ahead of accepting a job working with the Football Association based at St George's Park. Initially working with England under-17s and under-18s, he later became head coach for the under-15s prior to coaching Southampton's B team between 2021 and 2023.

Also an assistant coach to the Welsh national women's team, he worked in the same capacity with Norway between 2024 and 2025.
