Roger Monksummers was one of the new directors of Exeter City AFC after the supporters' trust gained possession of the club during Autumn 2003.

From Gillingham in Dorset, Mr Monksummers served on the club board from November 2003 to May 2005. Remaining a supporter for many years afterwards he was a member of his local town council and also involved in rarebreed poultry preservation.
