Schranz, Dr Peter
Dr Peter Schranz was Exeter City's consultant orthopedic surgeon from the mid-1990s.
A leading authority on trauma and sports-related knee injuries, Dr Schranz was a former RAF medic who had served in the first Gulf War of the early 1990s. Arriving at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital in 1996, he also taught postgraduate sports medicine students in addition to his consultancy role with Exeter City.
A Round Britain yachtsman, he retired from the RD&E in 2018 and later spent time in Lebanon with the Red Cross.
