Adrian Williams, formerly of Bristol City, had a trial with Exeter City ahead of the 1963/64 season.
Adrian was a member of the Bristol side that won the English Schools' Trophy in 1958. Joining Bristol City as an apprentice the same year, he made four league appearances for the Ashton Gate club having made his debut at the age of seventeen. Also scoring a hat-trick in the Robins' 11-0 FA Cup win over Chichester City in 1960, he won England youth honours before being released in May 1963.
With his month's trial at St James' Park proving unsuccessful, he signed for Gloucester City ahead of appearing for a number of clubs in the Western League including Minehead.
