Allinson, Stephen

Stephen Allinson was Exeter City's main legal adviser as the supporters' trust navigated through the compulsory voluntary arrangement (CVA) to first save the club and then stabilise it.

An important figure at St James' Park during the challenging times between 2003 and 2005, Mr Allinson trained as a solicitor and developed an expertise in insolvency law when working in the Exeter area. Later chair of the Insolvency Service, he also owned Yeovil Town's women's team and was a member of the FA's management committee for women's football
