Bound, Terry

Alongside side his wife Hazel (a one-time deputy mayor of Exeter), Terry Bound devoted many hours of his time volunteering on behalf of the Exeter City Supporters' Trust. He first came to Exeter in the late 1950s to study at St Luke's College.

Originally from Southampton, Terry was a keen footballer and hockey player and it was through the latter sport that he met Hazel to whom he was to be married for fifty-eight years. Settling in the area, the couple soon became supporters of Exeter City and had become enthusiastic volunteers by the time of the supporters' trust assuming control in 2003.

Their work included taking part in leafleting campaigns, undertaking tasks around St James' Park and helping equip the training facilities at the Cat and Fiddle. In latter years Terry and Hazel also became heavily involved with the East Devon Grecians.

Away from football, the pair were active supporters of the Long Distance Walkers' Association with Terry also having a keen interest in local history.
