Carolyn Reeby (nee Hodge), was the cub's commercial receptionist between 1977 and 1980 working alongside commercial manager Ray Ellis.

Recalling her time at St James' Park many years later, Carolyn told of how first-teamers Tony Kellow and Jimmy Giles attended her eighteenth birthday party.
 
During her time with City Carolyn married Brian Reeby who was to become a local football referee.
