'Geo' joined the backroom staff of Exeter City Women soon after the enforced break caused by Covid-19 and remained on the scene through the promotion near-miss of 2023, eventual promotion success in 2024 and the fourth-place finish in the third tier in 2025. 

Previously with Buckland Athletic between 2018 and 2021, George had started his coaching career with academy players at Airdrieonians before moving to the South West where he soon became involved with coaching male and female players at Ilminster Town alongside working within Exeter City's academy set-up.
