Fred Burford became Exeter City's ticket manager in March 2024.

A geography graduate of Northampton University, Fred had worked in the museum at Silverstone race track before joining Exeter City as a ticketing assistant in November 2023. Soon promoted to ticketing manager the following year, he oversaw the introduction of a 'ticket resale' scheme, a succession of sell-out games at St James' Park during the club's time in League One and the 'e-sales only' sale of 7,800 tickets for the FA Cup tie at Manchester City in January 2026.
