Doug Gillard joined the board of the Exeter City supporters’ trust in November 2017. 

First elected to the trust board in 2017, Doug was successfully re-elected on several occasions and served as a member of the ownership working group together with liaising with the supporters’ trusts of other South West clubs prior to taking the lead for the community working group.

He also led the club’s involvement in the Exeter Respect festival and helped develop links with groups of refugees.
