Nigel Edwards was elected to the board of the Exeter City Supporters' Trust in November 2025.

A City supporter since 1971, Nigel had spent over thirty years away from the area working in central government and other public bodies in the areas of developing business plans, strategies and performance frameworks.

Returning to Exeter in 2022, he stood for election to the trust board in 2025 on the ‘Trust in Change’ platform at a time of financial and governance uncertainty behind the scenes at St James' Park.
