Nathan Clinch arrived at Exeter City in 2021 as the academy's sports therapist before taking on various roles at both academy and first-team level.

Educated at Edge Hill University, and later qualifying as a physiotherapist through Plymouth University, Nathan had been a sports therapist with Torquay United prior to taking on a role in Exeter City's academy in June 2021.

Promoted to the academy's lead physiotherapist position in September 2024, he also worked with first-teamers during the 2025/26 season ahead of his appointment as head of academy medical and performance in February 2026.
