Oliver Roderick worked for Exeter City's media team on a voluntary basis when a student at Exeter University between 2012 and 2015. He subsequently became media manager ahead of moving into journalism and communications work.

Originally from the Neath area, Oliver was studying English at university when he regularly wrote for the club programme and helped develop City's social media channels. Graduating in 2015, he then worked as the Grecians' media manager until July 2016. 

Later a journalist for Wales Online, he also contributed to Brentford's programme before eventually moving into communications management with the South Wales Police.
