Connor Derbidge joined Exeter City as a strength and conditioning coach during Matt Taylor's first term as manager. He later worked in a senior sports science capacity for Plymouth Argyle.

Originally from Somerset, Connor arrived at the club in July 2019 having recently completed a masters-level strength and conditioning course at Cardiff Met University. Following City's promotion to League One, he remained with the Grecians until the autumn of 2022 when he took a new role with Charlton Athletic.

Connor subsequently became head of sport science at Plymouth Argyle in June 2024.
