Steve Hale was Exeter City's first-team goalkeeping coach during the 2019/20 season.

Usually based in Swindoin, Steve had worked at Swindon Town , Forest Green Rovers, Walsall and Oldham Athletic before arriving at Exeter City in July 2019 to work under Matt Taylor primarily with Lewis Ward and Jonny Maxted. .

He left the Grecians to work with Tottenham Hotspur Women follwed by later spells with Coventry City's academy, Crawley Town and Milton Keynes Dons throughout which time he continued to operate his own goalkeeping school.
