Adrian Lazarus, who had extensive experience in the pub trade, was general manager of Exeter City between 2019 and 2020.

Prior to his arrival at St James' Park in June 2019, Adrian had worked across the south of England for the likes of Chef and Brewer, Eldridge Pope, Mitchell & Butler and Whitbread. 

Remaining at the club through the first half of the Covid-19 lockdowns, he took over the management of a pub in Otterton until his untimely death at the age of forty-five in October 2021.
