Gary Moore worked for Exeter City's commercial and operations team in the years following the club's return to the Football League in 2008. 

Having recently completed a business studies course at Exeter College, Gary started as an assistant to commercial manager Bruce Henderson in 2008. He then moved into a sales and events position before leaving the club after three years to work in sales and marketing roles for a variety of businesses. 

Joining the Exeter Leukaemia Fund in 2017 as a development manager, he was was appointed interim CEO in February 2026.
