Fiona Neligan was a member of the Exeter City AFC Supporters Society (later the supporters' trust) board at the time of incorporation in 2000. She was also part of a slightly larger group of supporters who were present at the trust’s foundation. 

Fiona (later Fiona French) was one of six original trustees along with David Treharne, Christopher Lowman, Ian Huxham, Martin Ellicott and Paul Garnham. A Russian graduate of Manchester University, she acted as a volunteer 'VIP host' at St James' Park for many years whilst working for the University of Exeter.

Fiona later became a self-employed photographer.
