Hack, Kevin

Kevin Hack, a former sport development officer with Exeter City Council, worked for the Exeter City Community Trust until his death in 2021. He also played a significant part in the development of women's football at the club.

A long-time employee of the city council, Kevin devoted many of his off-duty hours towards helping Exeter City in all number of ways. This included becoming involved in the centre of excellence, futsal and schools' activities at a time when these were primarily the preserve of the Exeter City Community Trust. With an important need to raise finance to sustain such activities, Kevin co-ordinated efforts on match days most notably through bucket collections.

As befitted a sports development professional, he had an especial interest in encouraging the growth of women's football in Exeter and was on the coaching staff of City's women's team, in all of its various guises, between 2002 and 2013.

Eventually leaving the City Council, Kevin took on more and more responsibility in the community trust until his death in September 2021.
