Carrie Gillam was Exeter City's chief commercial officer between 2022 and 2025. Having previously worked in rugby union, she later took on a senior role in horse racing.

Having gained early experience with Bath Racecourse, Carrie spent time in the hotel business in South Wales before joining the Llanelli-based Scarlets as general manager of Parc Y Scarlets.

Switching to City in February 2022 her role covered ticketing, hospitality, marketing and commercial activity together with a remit to grow attendances at St James' Park.

After spending three years in post Carrie briefly worked for the Dartington Hall Trust prior to returning to horse racing as executive director of Uttoxeter Racecourse.
