Kirstie Bowden was a regular contributor to the Exeter City programme during the club's time in the Conference and in the years following the return to the Football League in 2008.

Often writing about travelling to away games, Kirstie was still at school when her column first appeared in the club programme. By the time of her final contribution she had graduated in geography from Exeter University and had gone on to complete a PhD on the theme of Polish identity in rural Devon.

The subject of a Daily Mirror article about her displaying a flag in tribute to Adam Stansfield at every away game during the 2010/11 season, Kirstie was later head of geography at a school in North Devon.
