Craig Atkins was the Exeter City academy’s head of sport science and medicine between 2023 and 2026. He left to work for Bristol City. 

A sport conditioning, rehabilitation and massage graduate of Cardiff Metropolitan University, Craig joined Exeter City shortly after graduating as a sport scientist and conditioning coach. 

Promoted to lead the academy’s approach to sport science and medicine in March 2023, he remained in post for three years until becoming physical performance coach for Bristol City’s women’s team.
