Yemi Odubade, a former professional footballer with clubs such as Oxford United and Stevenage, worked for Exeter City’s academy as a lead coach during the 2020s.

Born in Nigeria, but growing up in East Sussex, Yemi started his football career with Eastbourne Town before having a short spell with Yeovil Town followed by longer stints with Eastbourne Borough, Oxford United, Stevenage, Gateshead and Eastleigh together with shorter stays and periods on loan for a host of other clubs.  

After playing further down the non-league ladder until the early 2020s, Yemi enrolled on a coaching programme organised by the Premier League, EFL and Professional Footballers' Association in conjunction with Leeds Beckett University. Qualifying in 2024, he became lead coach for the 9 and 10 age group within Exeter City’s academy.
