Ben Brotherton worked for Exeter City's academy as both secretary and operations manager during the 2020s. 

Originally from Shropshire, Ben studied fine art at Plymouth University and worked in tourism in Cornwall before entering football in 2018 as an administrative and operations assistant with AFC Bournemouth’s academy. After taking a similar position with Stevenage, he returned to Cornwall before joining Exeter City in May 2022.

Originally secretary to the academy set-up, Ben became academy operations manager in July 2024.
