Alex  Lomas, who had a background in Swedish football, was an Exeter City lead academy coach in the 2020s.

A graduate of the Swedish School of Sport and Health Sciences, Alex gained an UEFA ‘A’ coaching licence in 2016. Starting as a youth coach with Älvsjö AIK, a lower division team from the Stockholm area, he then spent six years working for AIK Fotboll - one of Sweden’s largest clubs - as an academy coach and player educator.

He then joined Exeter City’s academy at the start of 2024 as lead coach for the 14 to 16 age group.
