Niall Barefoot worked as lead physiotherapist in Exeter City's academy during the 2020s.

A former student of Exeter College, Niall gained a degree in physiotherapy from Keele University before starting his career with the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust in August 2021.

Subsequently taking the job of Exeter City lead academy physiotherapist on a part-time basis in October 2022, Niall continued to work for the NHS as well as on a self-employed basis. Additionally, from September 2023, he worked for the Football Association as a physiotherapist with the England cerebral palsy team.
