Craig Butler worked for Exeter City as a performance centre and advanced development centre coach during the 2020s.

The holder of an UEFA B coaching licence, Craig had been the further education co-ordinator for the Exeter City Community Trust for three years before taking on coaching roles for the academy's satellite centres in November 2021.
