Tim Legg was Exeter City academy head of education between 2016 and 2018. Later returning once more to coach City’s younger players, he also worked for a number of other professional clubs alongside enjoying a long playing career in the Somerset area.

A sports coaching graduate of Cardiff University, Tim first worked as a coach within City’s academy when training to be a teacher between 2014 and 2016. Subsequently, with previous experience at Bristol Rovers and Cardiff City, Tim was well-placed to be appointed as head of education for Exeter City’s academy in July 2016.

Leaving to work at Bridgwater and Taunton College in August 2018, he later worked at Bath College and Richard Huish College whilst coaching in Bristol City’s academy on a part time basis. He then returned to Exeter City in an academy coaching/player care role in August 2025 before once again becoming part of Bristol City's academy staff.

Hailing from Wellington in Somerset, Tim played for the likes of Bridgwater Town, Chard Town, Taunton Town and Wellington where he had a spell as joint manager.
