William Iddesson was announced as a director of Exeter City during the 2002/03 season. 

Through the match programme, Exeter City recorded the appointment of William Iddesson as a club director following John Russell and Mike Lewis taking control of the club in May 2002.  

There is no Companies House record of Mr Iddesson ever having been a director of the club.  The spelling of his name is also questionable with nobody of that surname being registered in England and Wales since records began in 1837. 'Ideson' is a possible alternative with records showing a William Ideson from the Exeter area as serving as a director of a number of businesses.
