Chris Bury, an osteopath, offered his services to Exeter City on a voluntary basis during the early years of supporter ownership. 

Chris, a biological sciences graduate of Exeter University, trained at the British College of Osteopathic Medicine during the 1980s before establishing practices in Crediton and Exeter.

As an Exeter City follower and member of the supporters’ trust in the early days of supporter ownership, he participated in a skills survey of members in 2004 and ended up tendering his services as an osteopath on a voluntary basis. Encouraged initialy by manager Eamonn Dolan and physio Claire Turner, he continued to work for the club for successive managers and therapists.   

Alongside his day-to-day work in private practice, Chris lectured to local universities, doctors and osteopathic students as well as conducting research.
