Rob Casey, a local college lecturer, became Exeter City's official poet in 2016 and started to contribute poems to the club's programme for every game until the Summer of 2023. (An unofficial world record)

A graduate of Canterbury Christ Church University, Rob had taught in Hampshire before moving to Exeter College in 2015 to teach English and creative and professional writing. Also a one-time 'Bard of Exeter', he played in a band as well as performing his poetry in public.
