A sports therapy graduate from Plymouth University, he had also worked with Exeter College's sports academy, Sidmouth Town and the Exeter Chiefs together with the PT Space gym in Exeter.
Kurtis was involved with Exeter City at a time when Abbie Britton was women's team manager and the team was playing in the third tier of English women's football.
