Part four of the ECFC Wembley adventure ended in defeat to Coventry City, whilst also marking the end of Paul Tisdale’s reign as manager after a club record 626 matches. During the summer former captain Matt Taylor was appointed as manager, and in the autumn the Stadium redevelopments were completed to mark the beginning of a new era at St James Park.
