City:- Bailey; Pollard, and Charlton; Coleburne, Crompton, and Potter; Shelton, Kirk, Lievesley, Murray, and Dockray.

Result:
Rangers (Parker 2) 2
Exeter City 0.
Referee: Mr E.C.Sambrook, of Swansea.

Queen's Park Rangers gained an easy home victory in their last match of the season over Exeter City by two goals to nil. The score might have been doubled, as many good shots missed the goal by inches.

The Rangers, who made several changes, were a quite different proposition on their own ground to the form shown at Exeter last Saturday. Their forwards were full of dash, and the defence was very sound, and without much danger coming from Exeter's forwards Hill had an easy time in goal.

Exeter's best players were Bailey, Pollard, and Charlton. The Rangers soon asserted their superiority, and eight minutes after the start Parker scored from close range. The lead was increased 25 minutes after the start of the second half, Parker sending in a fast ground shot which Bailey dived to, and although he got his fingers to the ball he could not prevent its passage to the net.

CITY RESERVES V EAST DEVON LEAGUE.

There was a good attendance at St James's Park this afternoon for Exeter City's concluding home match of the season, which was a "friendly" between the Reserves and a representative East Devon League side. Play opened sedately, and after Exeter had captured a territorial advantage for several minutes the League took play to
the other end, where Rice relieved Gilchrist of the ball, and put in a lovely centre to the goalmouth, Pavey saving by the post. The ball was returned by Glanville and again Pavey saved. The League were putting plenty of life into their work, and good, confident football was shown all along their left flank.

Clever triangular play on the City left wing led to the opening goal, fifteen minutes after the start. From Wray's pass Blackmore coaxed the ball out of the way of Tooze, and beat Croft with a low drive to the corner of the net. Croft next saved from Lendon and Wray, and cut out a dangerous centre from Exeter's Davis. Two minutes from half-time Hunter dribbled through and passed forward to Blackmore, and the Silverton United amateur banged the ball into the net with a chacteristic shot from eighteen yards.

SECOND HALF.

Following a scramble in the City goalmouth Davis (St. James's) scored for the League, but after a brief spell of midfield play the Reserves asserted themselves and rattled in five goals. The scorers were Blackmore, Wray, Davis, Blackmore, and Davis, in that order. The final result was City Re serves 7 League 1, and the teams were:

EXETER CITY RESERVES
Pacey Flynn Smith
Crawshaw Hunter Gilchrist
Davis Thornton
