The Match at Bournemouth.

On Christmas morning, kicking off at 11.30 o'clock, at Dean Court, the Grecians were beaten by three goals to one. They scored in the first minute through Houghton, who had collaborated cleverly with Doncaster. Eyre equalised in the next minute, and at the end of half an hour Lowton gave Bournemouth the lead by heading back towards his own goal. Campbell had come out and the ball travelled over his head and dropped into the vacant net.
Exeter played splendidly in the second half and at times bombarded the home goal, but McSevich, in brilliant form, prevented a score, and in a Bournemouth breakaway Eyre netted.
