EXETER CITY
The Grecians' defence cracked badly, and there was little semblance of effective covering between the halves and the backs. There was, again, too much wandering towards the centre of the field by the wing halves, and consequently Peters and Flanagan were allowed a great deal more latitude than they ever expected. Chesters was injured in the first half and had to leave the field for a time, Gray going in goal. Exeter played in white shirts. Peters (3), Fowler (2) and T. Armstrong scored for the Railwaymen and Scott for Exeter.

TRURO CITY 1.
Alf Matthews, who has been both a "Grecian" and a "Pilgrim" in his time, but who has together with Alex Hardie, now linked up with Truro City, turned out for them today at St James's Park and got their only goal. The game was also notable for the fact of Edward Keefe was playing his last match prior to joining the Police. Dick Ebdon scored Exeter's first four goals and Dudley the fifth. Brooking, of Exeter Butchers, kept goal instead of Davies.
