Luton Town (a)

Western League
Taunton Town (h)

Saturday, April 21st 1934.
LUTON TOWN 3 EXETER CITY 2.

Luton Town.
Harford; Mackey and Reece; Kean, McGinnigle, and Fraser; Brown, Tait, Bell, Hutchison, and Anderson.

Exeter City.
Chesters; Gray and Miller; Clarke, Webb, and Angus; Scott, Risdon, Hurst, Wrightson, and J.Barnes.

Both teams played good football at Luton today, the City putting up a good fight but losing by the odd goal in five. Exeter had quite a fair share of the exchanges, but Luton's more forceful methods gave them the victory. Goals by Anderson and Tait for Luton were followed by one by Hurst before the interval. In the last twenty minutes Hutchison increased Luton's lead, and with almost the last kick of the match Hurst reduced
