Saturday, November 21st.
BOURNEMOUTH AND BOSCOMBE 0 EXETER CITY 0.

Defences were in great form at Dean Court, where Exeter gained a useful point against the strong Bournemouth team. No goals were scored in a keen game which was notable for the few opportunities which came the way of either attack. Tierney and Shadwell were Exeter's best players. The attendance was six thousand.

Bournemouth did nearly all the attacking in the first half, but the sturdy defence of the Grecians withstood all the pressure. Riley's two best scoring efforts only served to give Tierney the chance to show his ability in goal. Exeter's best shots were sent in by McGill, one of them just grazing the crossbar.
