Henry Wilson, a local amateur, appeared in four first-team games for Exeter City in 1921/22 starting with the game against Plymouth Argyle on Boxing Day.. 

Signed from football in the Exeter area, he was called up into Exeter City’s first team to make his debut at St James’ Park against Plymouth Argyle on Boxing Day 1921. This was the first of four matches he was to play during the season and he played no further first-team games thereafter.
