Peter Williams, brother of Johnny Williams who played over 400 league games for Plymouth Argyle, made a single appearance for  Exeter City in November 1960. 

Originally an amateur with Plymouth Argyle, Peter signed a professional contract with Exeter City in April 1960 after making reserve team appearances for the club whilst completing his National Service. 

Peter had to wait until the following season to have his sole Football League outing for the Grecians in the heavy defeat at York City in November 1960.

After leaving Exeter at the end of the 1960/61 campaign, Peter is believed to have retired from playing. He died in 2013.
