Glenn Sprod, from Australia, signed for Exeter City in July 1990 and remained on the scene into the 1991/92 season. He made one substitute appearance for the first-team in the Football League Trophy.
After joining City as a sixteen-year-old, Glenn's involvement with the first team came during the second year of his traineeship in 1991/92. Named as a substitute - but left unused - in the league against Fulham, Wigan and Bradford City, his only appearance in first-team football came as a 77th minute substitute for Steve Moran in the Football League Trophy game at West Bromwich Albion on 14 January 1992 which City won 1-0.
He then returned to Australia and turned out for a number of teams including Fraser Park, Newcastle Breakers, Newcastle United, Parramatta Eagles and Central Coast.
